AuditoryARMory is in love with melody.
The backbone of AuditoryARMory, April Rose, is a very open-minded musician with a wide variety of influences, including jazz, singer-songwriter, heavy metal, eclectic, world, and progressive.
She loves the chemistry that each instrument has with its performer. April has an intense passion and talent for writing. She loves to share her passions with others and has the utmost respect for other musicians, artists, and performers.
April has been playing guitar since the age of 12 and cello since 17. She also possess skills in piano, bass, and erhu (Chinese two-stringed violin). Her first guitar lessons were with Clint Stewart at Jammer's Music in Kissimmee, Florida, and is currently completing her Music Major at Rollins College. At Rollins she has had the pleasure and opportunity to study guitar with Bobby Koelble and music composition with Dr. Daniel Crozier. April has also participated for four years in Jazz Ensemble with Chuck Archard as well as Rollin's Guitar Ensemble. She is well-versed in music theory and improvisation, having learned a variety of techniques and styles, from jazz to metal.
Although April's main passion is for songwriting, she implements all of her collected techniques into her music, creating a style that is very unique. |
